Kosher salt
2 cups dill pickles, drained and sliced
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon horseradish

Ingredients:

1½ cups plus 2 tablespoons warm water
1 package active dry yeast
4¼ cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon fine salt
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch dried oregano

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare a baking tray and line it with parchment paper.
To prepare the dough, pour ¼ cup warm water in a mixing bowl. Add yeast and wait 5 minutes or until bubbles form. Combine with flour, 2 tablespoons butter, sugar, salt, and 1¼ cups and 2 tablespoons warm water. Mix for about 5 minutes or until mixture turns into a dough that is a bit sticky.
Remove from bowl and transfer onto a flat surface sprinkled with flour. Knead for about 3 minutes until the dough is soft and smooth. Form dough into a log that is about 2 feet long. Then, cut dough equally in 1½-inch long pieces, making 16 small pieces in total. For each piece, knead slightly and form into a breadstick that is about 7 inches long. Position breadsticks on a prepared baking tray with 2-inch spaces in between each. Cover, then set aside for 45 minutes or until dough size has doubled.
Using a brush, coat breadsticks with 1½ tablespoons melted butter. Season with ¼ teaspoon salt.
Place in oven and bake for 15 minutes or until slightly golden.
As the breadsticks bake, mix remaining salt, garlic powder, and oregano in a bowl.
Remove breadsticks from oven and immediately coat with the rest of the melted butter. Season with herb mixture.
Serve warm.
